Hiking

Hiking events will be held during the summer and fall to show our community how invasive plants are impacting the environment and biodiversity. This is also a great opportunity for you, your family, and your friends to get some fresh air and meet other community members in your neighborhood! For participating, each person will receive free milkweed seeds/native wildflower seed bombs. We will be meeting at the North Entrance of Black Creek Parkland (beside the sign) and then hike on the trail in the park. You can pre-register for the event below the map. We hope to see you there!

*Hiking events have started again in May 2022! We have switched location from Northwood Park to Black Creek Parkland.

*Note: Please remember to wear a mask in case social distancing is not possible. We will also be providing hand sanitizer and free reusable masks (that you can keep!) before we go on the hike.
